Unhappy Problems with the game :/

Hello everyone!

Well, I just installed my GTA San Andreas on my computer, but it doesn't work like it should. The game goes way to fast, I haven't touched anything, I just started the game and the cars and everything goes REEALLY FAST! Almost like rockets xD.

Nah, but I know it shouldn't be that way... Anyone knows how to make the game slower again ? I would REALLY appreciate it.

Hi!

Please tell us your hardware-specification (CPU, RAM, graphics card, ...). I think this problem appears on dual-core-CPUs and you have to deactive one CPU.

greets

Alright, here it is:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 4200+
1.00 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM

Graphic card:
NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE

That's it, I think. I hope you can help me as soon as possible!
And if you think that I have to deactivate one CPU, please tell me how to do it! =)

The Dual Core Optimizer should do its job: Download Page
"AMD Dual-Core Optimizer - The AMD Dual-Core Optimizer can help improve some PC gaming video performance by compensating for those applications that bypass the Windows API for timing by directly using the RDTSC (Read Time Stamp Counter) instruction.[...]"
